During the 1950s, this man moved with his family to a beautiful residence near Hawkins. Strange events occur and the worst happens: his wife and daughter are murdered. Accused despite his innocence, Victor Creel is locked up in a psychiatric hospital. In reality, the person responsible for the atrocities is none other than his son, Henry Creel – future Vecna.
While the heroes of the series lead the investigation to find out the origin of the monster, they return to the scene of the tragedy. On the screen, the house throws some. Halfway between the haunted mansion of Disneyland and that of Amityville, it is the ideal setting for a horror film.

If the team behind Stranger Things have mastered the art of fiction to perfection, Victor Creel’s house really does exist. It has been completely redesigned for the needs of the series. Located in the State of Georgia, at 906 E 2nd Ave SW Rome, the establishment was called the Claremont House Bed and Breakfast.
Until 2019, it was a guest house with 5 bedrooms – each with its own private bathroom – and a reception room that could accommodate up to 45 guests. Subsequently, the house was sold to a family. Thanks to the phenomenal success of the series, many Americans come to the door of this house that has become a star.
