Fans don’t forget season 5 of Stranger Things. And Netflix either, who has just published a short teaser setting the tone for future episodes and… clues?
The release of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things is not for now. The arrival of the final episodes of Netflix’s flagship series should not take place before the end of 2024 at best. Preparing for 2025 does not seem out of place either. In the meantime, in addition to various spin-off projects, the streaming service is thinking of fans with a little teasing.
A chaotic teaser for Stranger Things season 5
Posted on social networks, it is a ten-second video. This shows the ruins of what appears to be Scoops Ahoy, the ice cream store in the shopping center where Robin and Steve worked during season 3. Plant elements resembling those present in the upside down world suggest that the person responsible of this destruction is none other than Vecna, now free to move around our mountain.

As is often the case with this type of teaser, fans see many things in it to build theories. When there is no mention of Morse code in the ice cream parlor’s illuminated sign, others try to interpret Netflix’s comments in its responses to Internet users. When the service speaks for example of “ important relic of Scoops Ahoy » for the whiteboard where the words “ You Rule ” And ” You Suck », some see this as proof that there will be time travel in season 5. We will let you form your own opinion.
An ambitious conclusion
If season 5 of Stranger Things will take time to come out, this is obviously because of the writers’ and actors’ strike which continues in Hollywood. But, even without this event, the final chapter of the adventures of Eleven and her friends would have taken time to come out as the Duffer brothers seem to want to inject it with excessive ambition.
Actor David Harbor (Jim Hopper) in particular declared this summer that he had read the conclusion, which he said was very moving. He specifies that settings and intrigues would surpass anything that has been done in the past in the series. Unsurprising words, which are just waiting to come true!
