2024 - Stranger Things: a “son of” makes an appearance in the series in all discretion

The last season of Stranger Things, which ended on July 1, briefly shows the son of two famous American actors, in the background of a scene.

It is more than likely that you missed his passage on the screen. On the one hand, because this young man is just beginning his acting career – he therefore does not enjoy a notoriety allowing anyone to spot him – on the other hand, because the scene lasts only a handful of seconds . Whatever, Levon Thurman-Hawke, son of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, can boast of having appeared – even briefly – in Stranger Things. It’s definitely a family story! Indeed, his older sister, Maya, also plays in the fantasy series, with a more prominent role. In case you didn’t know, the 24-year-old plays Robin, a clumsy student with a hilarious outspokenness, secretly in love with her bandmate. Also seen in the 2017 adaptation of The Four Girls of Doctor March or in the film Mainstream in 2020, Maya Hawke is gradually making a name for herself in the acting world. A world not really foreign to the actress since her two parents, Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, are themselves actors.

Now, the circle is complete since Levon, 20, has decided to follow the path of his elders. In episode 2 of season 4, we see him, dressed as a punk, entering the video store where Robin and Steve (played by Joe Keery) work. Admittedly, his appearance on the screen only lasts for the blink of an eye, but Levon Thurman-Hawke is already working on a more substantial project, namely the shooting of the series The Crowded Room, in which he shares the poster with Tom Holland.
