Stranger Things: Even after season 4, the shadow world should continue

The teenage heroes from "Stranger Things" apparently have to grapple with the Demogorgon for more than four seasons.

The residents of Hawkins don't seem to be getting rid of the monsters from the shadow world that quickly. At least the two makers of the mystery series "Stranger Things", the brothers Matt and Ross Duffer (36 each), have now indicated that the forthcoming fourth season will not be the last, as initially feared. In an interview with the US site "The Hollywood Reporter" Ross Duffer revealed: "Season four will not be the end. We know what the end is and we also know when it is."

Like many other productions, "Stranger Things" is also affected by the corona pandemic. The shooting of the fourth season had to be canceled, from September of this year we should start again. As a result, the publication was postponed to an unknown time, but the forced break also had something good, as the Duffer brothers reveal in an interview.

The break gave them "a lot of time to look into the future and find out what is best for the series." This made it clearer to them "how long we need to tell the story" – and that seems to be more than just four seasons. And another advantage: "We had a lot more time to work on the scripts. For the first time ever, we've already written all of the scripts." This helped immensely to create a consistently coherent story.
