The epic finale of Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 is fast approaching on Netflix. But which characters could well perish during these next two episodes? We take stock.

Steve Harrington
Steve is most likely to die in the Season 4 finale.

Will Dr. Brenner be killed by Eleven, or will he redeem himself?
Dr. Brenner is Stranger Things’ longest running villain. He may not be a slimy, sharp-toothed monster and he doesn’t feast on Upside Down teenagers, but he manipulated Eleven from a young age, putting him through hell to hone his powers. .
After his apparent death at the hands of a Demogorgon in Season 1, he finally returned in Season 4 in order to help Eleven regain her powers. In fairness to him, Volume 1 did a good job of showing a kinder side to the character and how much he cares for her, even if it’s pretty rough.
So there are two possibilities: either he lets himself be killed to save Eleven’s life during the inevitable battle in the building housing “Project Nina”, or she decides to take revenge and the massive explosion visible in the tape -announcement of volume 2 is the destruction of the installation with him inside.
A dark Infinity War finale where most characters die?
Season 4 of Stranger Things should offer a heartbreaking finale.
If we consider Vecna’s place in Stranger Things: he is the architect of all the pain that the characters have been going through since the start of the series. When he was banished to the Upside Down, he then became the instigator of every tragedy in the series, whether it was the kidnapping of Will in the first episode or the death of Chrissy. in season 4.
Therefore, if we treat him like the “Thanos of Stranger Things” except that instead of collecting the Infinity Stones he collects the bodies of teenagers, then Volume 2 should end on a heartbreaking note.
