A filming date has been announced for the final season of “Stranger Things”, expected on Netflix for 2025.
It’s (almost) already the end of Stranger Things. Netflix’s most iconic series is preparing to bid farewell to the public. Of course, the end of the program is not yet quite imminent, since the fifth and final season will not be broadcast until 2025 on the platform.
Launched in 2015, Stranger Things is a series that follows the adventures of a group of children in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. Confronted with a series of paranormal events, and the disappearance of one of them, they meet Eleven, a young girl with supernatural powers…
Several years generally separate the broadcast of two seasons. Despite the consistency issues brought on by the growth of the cast, the series remains one of Netflix’s most popular hits.
But this success did not prevent creators Matt and Ross Duffer from completing the program at the end of season 5, to respect their initial vision of the story.
Filming begins in a few weeks
Filming for the final season should have started last May, but production was ultimately postponed due to the actors’ and writers’ strike that paralyzed Hollywood. But according to the American site Deadlinewe won’t have to wait very long for filming to finally begin.
Our colleagues suggest that shooting for season 5 will begin in the first week of January, probably on the 5th or 8th (the final date does not yet seem to have been set).
The actors of the program will be on site in Atlanta a few days before the start of filming to rehearse together and carry out the traditional general reading of the scripts with the entire team.
