Stranger Things: Season four will resume soon

Netflix provides mystery supplies: filming for the upcoming fourth season of "Stranger Things" should begin again soon.

As with so many other film and series projects, the corona pandemic also influenced the work on the fourth season of "Stranger Things". Production, which started at the beginning of the year, had to pause shortly afterwards due to the Corona crisis. Now the work on the Netflix mystery hit can obviously continue in a few weeks. The industry magazine "The Hollywood Reporter" reports.

Accordingly, the cast of "Stranger Things" was told that production would continue on September 17 in the US state of Georgia. It can be assumed that the entire regular cast of the series will also be part of the upcoming season – including Millie Bobby Brown (16, Eleven), Noah Schnapp (15, Will Byers), Gaten Matarazzo (17, Dustin Henderson) , Winona Ryder (48, Joyce Byers) and David Harbor (45, Jim Hopper).

How many episodes will there be?

The authors of "Stranger Things" have already indicated how many episodes there will be in season four. Mid-June they posted a photo on Twitter, which shows nine scripts. "Stranger Things 4: The Complete Season," was the accompanying comment. So fans will most likely be able to look forward to nine new episodes.

The fourth season was announced in September 2019. At the beginning of March it was officially confirmed that work on the new season had originally started. It is not yet known when exactly the next season will be shown. However, due to the compulsory break, publication is unlikely to take place before 2021.
