In the fourth season of “Stranger Things” Mike, Elfi, Dustin and co. have to deal with Vecna, a new villain who could just as easily have come from a Stephen King novel. The sometimes very brutal scenes from the new season also suit King, because young main characters don’t mean that the story itself is intended for a young audience.
In addition to the final season of “Stranger Things,” the Duffer brothers are currently working on a film adaptation of the novel “The Talisman,” which Stephen King wrote with Peter Straub. So the Duffers will remain loyal to King in the future!
