Stranger Things: the creators already know how the Netflix series ends!

After the last two episodes of season 4 of “Stranger Things”, we will have to be patient to find Eleven and her gang. For their part, the creators already have more ideas.

If the release of each season of Stranger Things is an event, that of season 4 broke all records – to the point of bugging the Netflix platform as soon as volume 2 was released on July 1. The last two episodes offer an epic conclusion, but above all set the stage for the fifth season, which will be the last.

For the creators, brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, the work has only just begun. In an interview granted to Collider, the duo explains that the writing of season 5 will begin the first week of August. This implies filming in 2023 and therefore a release for the following year.

For this final season, the showrunners want to pay tribute to their characters: “We want everyone to have their moment. (…) We want to be sure that they have an end that lives up to our expectations.” The creators have already confirmed that season 5 will feature a time jump.

Although nothing is written yet, the duo already have a very precise idea of the last moments of the series. “The last 20 minutes are already decided”, adds Ross Duffer. In another interview, the two brothers even claimed to have shed a few tears when discussing the main lines of season 5.

It remains to be seen whether this final installment will be as dark and dramatic as season 4. We can count on the creators to offer us new emblematic moments.
