It’s not much, but it’s something: still waiting for the end of the actors’ strike in Hollywood, season 5 of Stranger Things revealed itself a little more. The Duffer brothers, creators of the Netflix series, shared the very beginning of the scenario this Tuesday.
Chapter 1, scene 1
The day after “Stranger Things Day” (November 6), it is via their official account on the X network (formerly Twitter) that Matt and Ross Duffer gave fans a little something: the first words of the first scene of the highly anticipated season 5.
A bit of a scenario of which here is the French translation:
“Darkness
The sound of the cold wind. The trees groan. And…
A child’s voice. Who sings a familiar song:”
A rather modest extract, but which will undoubtedly help fans wait until the return of Eleven, Dustin, Lucas, Mike and the others. However, it raises some questions.
Who owns the child’s voice? Will? This would make sense, since his disappearance launched the series. In addition, the Duffer brothers confirmed that the character would be at the heart of this fifth chapter.
What about the “familiar song“? Stranger Things is known for its quality soundtracks, and we naturally think of Should I Stay or Should I Go? of the Clash, which crossed the story of Will, or even Running up that hill by Kate Bush, who created the event during season 4.
Many questions that will allow fans to ponder while waiting for the arrival of season 5, production of which is still on pause due to the actors’ strike in Hollywood. To date, discussions between the studios and the actors’ union are still stuck, particularly around the use of AI.
