Stranger Things: the series in the spotlight of a free festival in Paris

Notice to fans of the Upside Down… The Stranger Things series will be packing its bags for a few days in Paris with a free festival at the Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione (11th) from May 26 to 29.

But be careful, there won’t be places for everyone… To collect an entry ticket, reservations will take place on the festival site – May 12 at 5 p.m. to reserve the first 5,000 places and May 13 at 5 p.m. to reserve the last 5,000 places – with a first come, first served policy.

For the lucky ones who will recover the precious sesame, they will enter for one-hour sessions in the Cirque d’Hiver where “unprecedented immersive activities which will transport fans into the universe of the series” await them on more than 1000 m2. “Between roller-disco, cheerleaders, make-up sessions, challenges at arcade terminals, fans will dive into the nostalgic joys of the late 1980s,” announces Netflix. But beware, from Hawkins to Paris via California, danger is never far away… and the bravest among them could have to face the Upside Down! shape.

This event is organized as the first half of the highly anticipated season 4 of Strangers Things arrives this May 27 (the second will land on July 1). The show promises to be grandiose, the creators having confided that they wanted to give it a Game of Thrones dimension this time. The allocated budget also announces the color… Wall Street Journal revealed that the platform would have put on the table nearly 30 million dollars per episode…

The action, which will bring together the show’s key characters like Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Max ( Sadie Sink), Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Robin (Maya Hawke), or even Joyce (Winona Ryder), will take place six months after the battle of Starcourt which sowed terror and desolation on Hawkins in season 3.

“Still staggering, our friends find themselves separated for the first time – and high school life isn’t helping. It is at this moment of vulnerability that a new supernatural threat appears and, with it, a terrible mystery that may hold the key to ending the horrors of the Upside Down.”
