An unusual accident occurred on Sunday just before noon in Straßwalchen.
A Shetland pony that was torn from its owner’s leash ran into a car. The horse was thrown into the oncoming traffic by the impact and injured so badly that it died at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the oncoming traffic, a 39-year-old woman from Bavaria, was injured in the accident and went to medical care on her own, the police said.
