Stray Blade is late but explains the importance of Boji, the creature that accompanies us in game

During the 505 Games conference, we were able to discover some of the publisher’s future games, many of which had already been announced before. This is the case of Stray Bladean action-RPG unveiled during the last edition of gamescom, which took advantage of its showcase to show itself a little more, by presenting us with gameplay (from 17:35 min) which focuses on the game’s little mascot , boji (not the prince of Ranking of Kingsanother), while indicating that it was also postponed.

More than a guide, a real companion

In Stray Blade, a creature by the name of Boji will accompany the protagonist Farren and will be of great help to him. In particular, he will be able to lend him a hand in the midst of combat, but he will also be able to revive him and teach him more about the region of Acrea and the mysteries of the Valley.

He will then act as a kind of guide for Farren, while the latter will help him better understand the plot that is being played out. However, if you don’t like being guided, there is an option to reduce Boji’s help.

Because after all, exploration is described as one of the pillars of the game. It will not only be important in the discovery of elements of the game universe, but also in the fights, because we will be able to find resources that will allow us to craft new weapons.

Bad news, however, for those who were waiting for the game: Stray Blade will not be released in 2022 as originally planned, but in 2023 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. A public beta will also take place in the coming months, and more details will be shared at a later date.
