After an initial delay, Stray is finally coming to PS5, PS4, and PC. Highly anticipated, this little game will allow you to embody a stray cat in a futuristic city populated by robots which must of course find its way back. The game will be available tomorrow, July 19, but at different times depending on the platform.
Spaced outings
Unfortunately for PC players, it will take a little patience before you can put your paw on the precious title. Stray will be available to download from 10 a.m. on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5, while PC players will have to wait until 7 p.m. to find it on Steam.
It doesn’t seem like it’s possible to pre-download the game, so you’ll have to go to your T-time to start installing it. Remember that the game is not very heavy (which should please small connections), about 10 GB on PC. Similarly, the required configurations are not very demanding, so no need to own a beast of competition.
To note that subscribers to the new PlayStation Plus (Extra or Premium) will be able to play it upon release at no additional cost.
To the rescue of the chatounet
Stray is a purely single-player futuristic adventure game (no multiplayer), platforms and exploration where the player embodies a stray cat who must find his way in a world populated by robots. Your objective is therefore to take control of the adorable cat and try to bring him home, safe and sound. As you explore this cyberpunk world, you will regularly come across riddles to solve and other puzzles. It will be necessary to observe the decorations to constantly find solutions and objects allowing progress. A small robot called B-12 will follow you throughout the adventure and allow the lost cat to communicate with other robots found in the game, which will help flesh out the story of the world and its inhabitants.
Stray’s cat is unique, you will not be able to customize it, and it will take about 8 hours to complete the main scenario but more time to collect all the collectibles
Currently, Stray does not have any special or collector’s editions. You can simply buy it in dematerialized version on Steam or the PlayStation Store. The base price is €26.99 on PC and consoles. Note that a PS5 physical edition is in the works. We’ll probably have to wait a few more months before we can get our hands on it.
