Good news for PS4 owners and PS5 : a new video streaming platform is coming to your consoles!

Launched for the very first time 6 years ago, the Molotov platform has gradually extended to a range of media: PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, etc. Now it’s PlayStation’s turn to host the service!

Molotov lands on PlayStation

Nowadays, game consoles are no longer exclusively reserved for “gaming” use, as was once the case. For a few years now, game platforms have also become multimedia devices that offer the possibility of consuming Blu-rays and watching your favorite series from streaming services.

Today, it is the turn of the Molotov application to land on PlayStation game consoles. Specifically, the service provides access to nearly 200 television channels and provides free access to Mango, its video-on-demand service. If Molotov is available now on PS4, it will however still have to wait before it lands on PS5. Indeed, it will only arrive later this year on Sony’s next-gen console.

This is good news for Molotov customers, who now have a new way to view their content on the big screen. Whether on PS4 or PS5, all you have to do is go to the PlayStation Store to download the application, or go directly to the TV & Video menu on your console. As a reminder, the subscription to Molotov is accessible from 3.99 euros per month (without commitment).
