The arrival ofAkuma In Street Fighter 6 is clearly not the only novelty of the day, the community has reason to rejoice. Among this new content, we first find four additional costumes for fighters in DLC via the Year 1 Ultimate Pass (the one for €49.99). These 3 outfits were promised at the end of last year when the rest of roster had been entitled to his own, the total price of which was well overpriced. They have recently been introduced on video and detailed for the pleasure of the eyes. Well, in the lot, that ofEd is clearly the least original, resembling very much its appearance from SFV.
Here is what the creators of these costumes at Capcom said:
- Rashid – He is a FooTuber who practices parkour and extreme sports. We wanted to make this outfit sporty, with compression garments, a cap, sports sunglasses, etc. He also wears “tech-wear”, as he is naturally a gadget-loving character.
- AKI – We designed this by imagining AKI wanting to stand next to FANG, wearing an outfit with the same materials and silhouette. She doesn’t just imitate FANG’s outfit, but tries to be close to him in her own way.
- Ed – This outfit is based on the Neo-Shadaloo uniform design with Ed wearing a long leather coat. The owl symbol was placed on his shoulder. This design shows his dignity and prestige, as he assumes the role of leader.
- Akuma – I was inspired by the concept of Akuma living on an island in the Sea of Japan and by the performances of “Gojinjo-daiko” (a Japanese drum, Editor’s note). His muscles seem less human than ever, so I paid particular attention to the way his kimono is torn, exposing the red loincloth underneath.
A big balance update was also implemented, adjusting the gameplay of all the fighters. Even better, an additional game mechanic appears, the Recovery Drive Reversal, which as its name suggests is done by getting up from a fall, and this by all the characters. You can find the details of the changes made on the official website, but only in English. New combo challenges linked to these new features will put us to the test in a fun way.
Finally, this update now allows you to use custom settings for music in selecting playable tracks in combat. Of the bundles musicals are for the occasion put on sale against Drive Tickets Or Fighter Coins, Capcom don’t lose your way.
