Street Fighter multiplies partnerships

Just this week, Capcom confirmed a partnership with Magic: The Gathering, which will therefore see iconic characters from Street Fighter II feature on unique cards whose mechanics are inspired by the characters they honor. Fans can pre-order their package for 44.99 euros (normal edition) or 54.99 euros (foil edition) for release on July 29, 2022.

At the same time, while KOFXV celebrates its return to living room platforms, it’s mobile gaming The King of Fighters All Star which seals the friendship between the franchises of Capcom and SNK by means of a collaboration with Street Fighter V, knowing that the Netmarble game had already invited the characters of Dead or Alive and Guilty Gear. The event doesn’t have a date yet, but this one is already certain to involve Ryu and Chun-Li.

You will surely have noticed that these activities are taking place under the gaze of the countdown that Capcom launched this week and which will unveil its message on Monday February 21 at 7 a.m. By a happy coincidence, this date corresponds to the conclusion of the Capcom Pro Tour, which is the perfect opportunity to make a special announcement, especially if it ends with a “6”, such as the number of days by which the account to countdown has started. One thing is certain, with its 6 million copies sold in 6 years (decidedly), Capcom should be able to turn the page Street Fighter V with peace of mind.
