According to ComingSoon (via The Hollywood Reporter), the release of the untitled sequel from Ghostbusters: Afterlife is postponed from December 20, 2023 (27 at home) to March 29, 2024 in the United States, when was supposed to be released Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (April 3 in France) which in turn is delayed indefinitely. The upcoming Ghostbusters will be the fourth installment in the mainline film series (and the franchise’s fifth feature film overall, counting the 2016 reboot).

The studio also pushed back the release date of Kraven The Hunter, originally scheduled for October 6, 2023 (and October 4 with us). The film dedicated to the anti-hero, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the title role, should now see the light of day on August 30, 2024 in the US: a substantial delay of 10 months which is not insignificant. Sony has also announced official release dates for Badboys 4 And Venom 3 in the USA.
