Another arson on Bessarabierstrasse in the city of Salzburg: Late on Thursday evening, residents experienced a fire for the fourth time. Unknown people set fire to a stroller on the fifth floor. Several residents had to be treated by the rescue team.
In addition to the fire department, rescue services also had to go to the Liefering/Lehen district on Thursday because several residents were injured as a result of the heavy smoke and the fire. However, the arson on Thursday evening is not the first. Fires had already broken out there between June and August 2023. Strollers, tricycles and cars have already been set on fire. It is still unclear whether this is the same arsonist as before.
