Finding the right internet provider is not that easy. After all, they all advertise with literally gigantic numbers of up to 1 gigabit per second. In some cases, that may even be true: ideally, the promised performance can also be delivered. However, this is of course not the norm. In many cases, for example in rural areas, the reality is different. Much more often there are videos that you can watch loading, online games with long loading times and so on.
But which provider can really keep what it promises? And does that also apply to the place where you live? In the CHIP test, we examined 11 well-known providers throughout Germany. Deutsche Telekom emerged as the test winner with the overall rating “very good” (grade 1.46). It was followed closely by DeutscheGlass with a grade of 1.48.
