Stubaital – Blood deed in Tyrol: father killed with a knife

Just one day after the killing of a 50-year-old in Innsbruck, another violent crime rocked Tyrol on Saturday evening. This time the scene of the crime was Neustift in the Stubaital, the victim was a man (57). His daughter is suspected of having killed him with a knife.

At around 5 p.m., the rescue control center was contacted by a woman who stated that “something bad should have happened.” A 28-year-old Austrian woman and the body of her 57-year-old father were found by the emergency services in Neustift in the Stubai Valley. According to the current state of investigations by the police, there is likely to have been a violent argument between the two in advance, with the victim having multiple stab wounds. The presumed murder weapon is a kitchen knife. This could be ensured at the crime scene. The accused has minor cuts on her hands and is currently receiving medical treatment. According to the police, it has not yet been possible to interrogate the accused. The investigations were taken over by the State Criminal Police Office, the forensic investigation is underway. The emergency services of the State Criminal Police Office in Innsbruck had to move out on Friday because of a murder alarm. A 59-year-old Serb is suspected of having stabbed his wife (50) with a knife. The man confessed and was arrested at the scene.
