After a long day at work, many people reward themselves with a delicious meal. For quite a few of us, that means something greasy like fries, burgers and, best of all, a delicious dessert. Above all, many give in to the urge for something sweet more often than it would be healthy. But why is that?

Brain activity changes with sweet and fatty foods

Researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research in Cologne have set themselves the task of finding out. They noticed a change in brain activity when eating sweet and fatty foods. The resolution is in the video.
