Duchess Kate has shown she is the perfect representation for the Queen to present the Award for British Design.

Duchess Kate (40) once again lived up to her reputation as a style and fashion-conscious royal. On behalf of Queen Elizabeth II (96), she presented The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at London’s Design Museum on Wednesday (May 4).

For the celebratory occasion, the Duchess chose a green midi dress by Canadian-British designer Edeline Lee. She paired it with matching Emmy London heels and statement gold earrings.

At the event, Duchess Kate chatted with the head of British “Vogue”, Edward Enninful (50), and several scholarship holders from the British Fashion Council Foundation.

In 2018, Queen Elizabeth II personally presented the award during London Fashion Week. The pictures that showed her in the front row next to US “Vogue” boss Anna Wintour (72) went around the world at the time. The 96-year-old is now represented at many events by members of her royal family for health reasons.
