Styrians ask Drexler – How do you feel about vaccination, Mr. Governor?

Michael Sacherer, President of the Styrian Medical Association: People resist legal obligations such as compulsory vaccination. What can you do so that the people of Styria do what helps them and, at the end of the day, saves lives out of inner conviction?
Christopher Drexler: The federal government has practically done away with the obligation to vaccinate. The discussion surrounding this topic was screwed up. The obligation to vaccinate came very late and has never been sharpened. The decision to pick them up again was the right one. Basically, I believe that politicians, together with doctors, must convince that vaccination is the most important tool for overcoming the pandemic.
