Another blow. fans of the series such a big sun, broadcast on France 2, will have to be patient before discovering the new adventures of their favorite characters. Indeed, the chain announced in a press release the cessation of the broadcast of the soap opera from this Saturday, March 26. The goal ? Focus on the presidential elections which are fast approaching since the first round will be on April 10. “Due to current political events, the episode scheduled for 8:45 p.m. is canceled“, can we first read. It is also specified that this one is postponed to next April 12. In addition, there will also be “no more broadcasting between March 28 and April 11 to make way for the official campaign for the presidential election“. The channel schedule has been completely changed since there will be the broadcast of a Sidaction edition titled 40 years of singing with Celine Dion. This will be presented by Vincent Niclo. Subsequently, the broadcast We are livepresented by Léa Salamé and Laurent Ruquier, will be offered and it will start at 10:50 p.m., half an hour earlier.
A small gift. In order to console the loyal viewers ofsuch a big sun, France 2 wished to keep its number device which had been announced a few weeks ago. However, there will be a small difference since these are three new episodes which will be posted on the France Télévisions website from March 28. This is a way to still satisfy the viewers. There will also be a behind-the-scenes documentary which will be offered in two parts. The first will be online on April 2 and the second will be available on April 9. This will allow fans of the series to discover how the reception of the scenarios but also the shoots. According to the information published in the press release, it is specified that the producer Toma De Matteis and the director, Nicolas Hourès will bring “precisions concerning the mechanics of creation“. There will also be actors Mélanie Maudran, Benjamin Bourgois, Fred Bianconi, Nadia Fossier, Emma Colberti and Hélène Degy who will “talk about their daily life on the set”. Regarding the return to the air of the series on a daily basis, this is only planned from Tuesday, April 12.
Such a big sun: what will the series be replaced by on a daily basis?
For a fortnight, fans of the soap opera such a big sun will have to change their habits and be patient. Indeed, from this Monday, the episodes will be replaced by candidate campaign clips, just after the TV news. While a return is only scheduled for April 12, this looks very tense. Will Yasmine manage to clear her daughter Anissa, accused of Leo’s murder? Will Alex agree to testify in favor of Gaëlle so that a remission of sentence is granted to him? The answer in a few days.
