Myriam, interpreted by Pauline Paolini, was found dead without anyone knowing who is responsible for this tragedy. In an interview given to Pocket TV, Chrystelle Labaude assured that Elisabeth would be very shaken by the death of Myriam. “There is a form of guilt because they argued just before Myriam was killed. There was a very strong emotional bond between them. It’s another blow of loneliness that falls on him and reminds him that his son, Julien, his grandson, Theo, and his granddaughter, Manon, are gone. Fortunately, Alain is there, comforting her with mad love.“, she declared. Following the death of Myriam, it is Elisabeth who will succeed her at the head of L Cosmétiques. A news that will not delight the staff… “There is sorrow and fatigue. Elisabeth will graze the burn-out. But Alain watches over her“, she added.
For his part, César Méric, who lends his features to Marc, did not expect Myriam’s destiny to be so tragic. He indeed explained:I signed on to play Myriam’s boyfriend and, a few months later, I learned that she was dying. I confess that I was afraid for the future of my fictional family. I wondered if our characters were going to have a purpose on the show after that.“After ensuring that the Mourre family”still has good times ahead of it“, the actor slipped: “When the tragedy occurs, I remember thinking that it was going to be super interesting to compose even if my character was already very busy between his father’s suicide attempt, the tensions with his son, and the betrayal of his ex!He then added:Events show him devastated. He doesn’t like anything anymore. He is convinced that he will no longer be able to love. He barely has the strength to go to work. Fortunately, his boss pushes him a little, but it will be laborious. It wouldn’t be bad if he regained his energy, if he got out of this state.“

In an interview given to TV Star, Pauline Paolini indicated that leaving the series was a choice on her part. “I wanted to leave myself time for other projects on the side“, she said. After ensuring that the way her character had died surprised her, the actress added: “They did something quite dramatic to mark the occasion, it will also allow to give play to the other characters, namely a police investigation around. And that’s what’s always interesting, the fact that one story engages another.“
