Bad news for fans of Un si grand soleil: the France 2 soap opera will not be broadcast on Tuesday March 8, 2022. Télé Star tells you why.

Yes, there will be no new episode of Un si grand soleil on France 2 on Tuesday March 8, 2022, and for good reason. France Télévisions and Radio France have indeed decided to collaborate to help the populations affected by the Ukrainian situation. If devices have already been in place for several days, it is Tuesday, March 8 that will take place a big prime time event. France Télévisions and the Red Cross plan to hold an evening devoted to appeals for donations during the program “United for Ukraine” which will be presented by Leïla Kaddour and Nagui.
The special program, whose broadcast prevents that of Un si grand soleil, will be broadcast simultaneously on France 2 and France Inter as well as on TV5 Monde. It will bean exceptional concert in which the musical formations of Radio France will participate, all in the presence of dozens of artists readys to cover ultra-known pieces to encourage the public to mobilize. Florent Pagny, Pascal Obispo, Indochine, Carla Bruni, Zazie, Julien Clerc, Jane Birkin, Clara Luciani and many others will be there to give voice and mobilize to help Ukrainians.
The broadcast of Un si grand soleil disturbed by the news
The sponsor of the evening will be none other than Khatia Buniatishvili, ready to set the mood while paying tribute to all the victims of the conflict. Regarding the broadcast of Un si grand soleil, the soap opera will return on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. On the other hand, it will not be also not broadcast on Friday March 11, and this because of the broadcast, the same evening and live, of the Wales-France match as part of the 6 Nations Tournament.
