While investigating the disappearance of Victor in Un si grand soleil, Hélène develops a totally borderline behavior. Is she really mad?

Yesterday’s enemies are today’s allies in Un si grand soleil.
After the mysterious disappearance of Victor (Bertrand Farge), Claire (Mélanie Maudran) really had no other choice but to agree to lead the investigation with Hélène (Sophie Le Tellier).
Only, Claire has not forgotten all the harm that her former friend did to her and especially that she had kidnapped her. Although the psychiatric report had concluded that Hélène’s behavior was the result of her treatment for hypertension, the nurse never believed it and, on the contrary, remained convinced of her dangerousness.
Since then, everyone is necessarily wondering if Hélène is really crazy…
In a new excerpt available on the France.tv platform, Hélène and Claire are hiding in front of the straw hut’s storage room when they see two teenagers breaking in, including Tom, Emma’s brother. While Claire plans to call the police, Hélène advises her against it because the investigators are still not aware of Victor’s disappearance.
Finally, Hélène gets out of the car and goes to meet them. When she asks them what they are doing with Victor’s computers, one of them tells her to mind her business. No matter how much she insists, the teenager refuses to answer her and ends up insulting her. Hélène then takes a revolver out of her pocket before threatening them.
“You have three seconds to tell me what you are going to do with these boxes“, she then launches.
Seeing her do this, Claire intervenes immediately and urges her to drop her weapon. After Tom’s accomplice escapes, Hélène demands answers. Anxious, Tom therefore makes him believe that he just came to collect things for his sister Emma. However, Hélène knows full well that he is lying and losing his temper. For her part, Claire tries to calm her down.
Faced with this borderline behavior, should we imagine that Claire was right from the start on Hélène’s madness?
On this subject, Sophie Le Tellier, the interpreter of Hélène, explained in an interview with the magazine Télé Poche: “I would say that it is a bit like the female counterpart of Christophe who occasionally switches from his life as a veterinarian to that of a serial killer.”
And the actress adds: “She goes up very quickly, very far, and then it drops. This is what will happen with Alix when she realizes that she lied to her. She will want revenge but Alix will manage to bring her back down. All these emotions will still lead Hélène to take an interest in her mental health, and she will confide in Claire.“.
Mélanie Maudran, who plays Claire, said: “I remind myself of Ross in Friends when he keeps repeating about Rachel, ‘But we were on a beak!’ Claire, it’s the same loop with Hélène: ‘Since I tell you she’s crazy!”
In reality, it’s more subtle because we don’t know for sure what’s going on. She understands that Hélène is not doing very well, and since she is a nurse and has a big heart, she lets herself be softened a little..”
This is enough to bring Hélène a complexity that will allow her character to be explored in all its nuances in the sequel to Un si grand soleil.
