Blick reader Erwin T.* experienced a big surprise on Tuesday in Affoltern in Emmental BE. Actually, he just wanted to go for a walk in the fresh air, he says. But what he then experiences, even a day later, he still can hardly believe.
“A man came towards us. From a distance it looked like he was wearing a one-piece suit, which was a bit odd,” T recalls. “As he got closer, we realized: the man is naked, and it’s the middle of winter!” He wore nothing but sandals.
Erwin T. speaks to the man and asks him the reasons for his naked appearance: “The man said he did it more often. Even in winter, that’s good for the immune system,” says T., amused. The situation didn’t bother him much. “But when families with children go for a walk and a naked man comes towards them, it’s probably not quite as pleasant.”
Canton police have no knowledge
The man is known in the region, T. later learns. He is always lightly or not at all clad on the streets and hiking trails.
The Bern canton police said on request that they had not received any reports of a nude hiker in Affoltern in the Emmental since Tuesday. In principle, however, people who feel disturbed by a nude hiker can report this up to three months after the event.
Erwin T. has not reported to the police. “It didn’t bother me. And I had the feeling that the other walkers found it rather funny too.” (zis)
