A pedestrian suddenly appeared in front of a 21-year-old’s car on Friday around 7.30 p.m. in Feldkirch (Vorarlberg). Despite emergency braking, the young woman caught the 51-year-old.
The woman was on the L191a towards Liechtenstein. After the collision with her car, the man was thrown against the windshield. He then remained seriously injured on the road. The efforts of all helpers and rescue workers were unsuccessful. Any help came too late for the 51-year-old. He died at the scene of the accident. A traffic expert was called in the same evening. The road was difficult to pass until 9:30 p.m.
