The exchange experiment "Suddenly poor, suddenly rich" starts on August 31 at 8:15 pm on Sat.1. The viewers have been promised three special episodes, always broadcast on Mondays, in which celebrities swap their affluent lives for a week with that of poor families. The participating celebrities have already been announced by Sat.1: Melanie Müller (32, "Mit dem Herzen auf Malle"), Marc Terenzi (42, "Sarah and Marc in Love") and Matthias Mangiapane (36).
The latter is also making the start with his husband Hubert (52) and will try out "life at the other end of the social scale" for the experiment, as the press release says. The apartment, weekly budget, habits and circle of friends are exchanged. Meanwhile, the financially weak family can indulge in the celebrity's luxury life. In the end, both parties meet and should discuss the question of whether money really makes you happy.
