(CercleFinance.com) – Suez announces the signing with Engie of the first two electricity purchase contracts (PPA) of photovoltaic origin, relating to the production of power plants located on non-hazardous waste storage sites in the Morbihan and Val d’Oise.
By 2026, the two groups are committed together to commissioning 14 solar power plants, in addition to four power plants already in production. All of these units will represent a cumulative power of nearly 180 MWp.
These photovoltaic projects aim to supply renewable electricity to part of Suez’s industrial water and waste sites, while guaranteeing a stable price over the long term, with these first two PPAs covering a period of 20 years.
