Suez: signs three cooperation agreements in Uzbekistan – 02/11/2023 at 6:21 p.m.


(CercleFinance.com) – Suez announces the signing of three cooperation agreements with the Uzbek authorities in order to strengthen its support for the modernization of the water sector.

In addition to the recently implemented co-management contract for the modernization and improvement of water services in the capital Tashkent, three new agreements were signed today.

The agreements relate to a Public-Private Partnership project in the province of Surkhandarya aimed at expanding access to water in the Surkhandarya region; on a memorandum of understanding and cooperation on the Aral Culture Summit; as well as on an Agreement for access to water and sanitation in rural schools in the Bukhara region.

“We are determined to make this transformation of the Uzbek water sector a success, and a showcase for the entire Central Asian region, through several flagship projects,” declared Sabrina Soussan, Chief Executive Officer of Suez.
