(CercleFinance.com) – Suez announced yesterday that the National Sanitation Office of Senegal (ONAS) has entrusted it – and its partner, Consortium d’Entreprises (CDE) – with the design and construction of the Hann Bay wastewater treatment plant, following an international call for tenders.
With a capacity of 26,000 m3/day, this wastewater treatment plant is part of the Hann Bay depollution program undertaken by the Senegalese government.
The contract was signed with ONAS, representing the Government of Senegal, for a total amount of 49 million euros (including 25 million euros for SUEZ), with financial assistance from AFD, Invest International du Kingdom of the Netherlands and the European Union.
