“Summer AmFis”: Insubordinate France invites Minister Olivia Grégoire to discuss purchasing power with Adrien Quatennens


The former government spokesperson will oppose, on August 27 in Valencia, her liberal vision of the economy to that of her adversary.

The conversation promises to be lively. According to information from Parisian confirmed at Figaro, the Minister Delegate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Olivia Grégoire, will debate in public with the Insoumis MP Adrien Quatennens on August 27 in Valence. The event will take place on the occasion of the “AmFis d’été”, a sort of back-to-school university organized each year by the troops of Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Also in charge of the Trade, Crafts and Tourism portfolio, the tenant of Bercy, former government spokesperson, will oppose her liberal vision of the economy to that of her opponent on the subject of purchasing power. Inflation, wages, companies… Many subjects will be discussed, and the exchanges should be moderated by a journalist. La Marcheuse and l’Insoumis have already opposed each other during the previous five-year term, in particular during the debates in the National Assembly around the Pacte law.

Other LFI opponents invited in the past

This is not the first time that the LFI summer universities have received a member of the presidential majority. In 2019, Jean-Baptiste Djebarri, then a simple LREM deputy, had already participated in a debate on the theme of ecology during these summer meetings. Other opponents of the Insoumis, such as LR Olivier Marleix or Marianne Dubois, have also been invited there in the past. Last year, these summer days of La France insoumise brought together 3,000 participants in Marseille.
