The 4 new Switch games to discover during this second wave of Summer Offers

1. Kirby and the Forgotten World, at €39.99 instead of €59.99

Kirby and the Forgotten World is the first game Kirby with 3D gameplay. Like with games mario, the simplistic story is not the main argument of the title. Here, as usual, Kirby will have to use his mimicry abilities to copy the attributes of his enemies. The gameplay then adapts according to the assimilated enemy, or swallowed objects. Inventive and funny, the gameplay is constantly evolving and makes the adventure exciting. The ability to browse the title in full for two is a real plus. Too bad that the player or the player who accompanies you embodies Bandana, and will have to do without Kirby’s mimicry skill. Ideal to do with children, the cute and colorful universe of Kirby still conceals some strange moments with a surreal atmosphere, which the youngest may find difficult to understand. Nevertheless, it remains an excellent game to play with the family.

2. Persona 5 Royal at €35.99 instead of €59.99

Persona 5 Royal is a game developed by the Japanese studio P Studio, and published by Atlus and Deep Silver. This JRPG takes place in contemporary Tokyo and alternates between the real world and the Metaverse, a parallel universe where the psychology of the characters materializes. You play as a group of teenagers whose mission is to push criminals to become aware of their actions, and to change. With the theme of emancipation, the game puts you in the shoes of high school students stuck between odd jobs and exams, and their role as vigilantes in the shadows. The hundred hours of the main adventure offers a very pronounced Visual Novel side, coupled with a very codified JRPG. The exploration and combat phases are incredible and benefit from an artistic direction of rare elegance. The lively visual style and Jazzy vibe gives the game an identity of its own. Captivating, rhythmic and well written, Persona 5 Royal is the best in JRPG on the Nintendo console.

3. Street of Rage 4 at €12.99 instead of €24.99

Street of Rage 4 is the latest installment in the legendary beat’em up series. Developed and published by DotEmu, the title retains what made the success of the first episodes: unbridled urban brawling. The original characters from the series are back, along with some new, more accessible fighters. Without denying the retro 90s paw of the series, the developers offer to browse beautiful hand-drawn environments and beat NPCs in 2D. The game is exhilarating and the impact of blows is very present. It’s a real pleasure to wander the streets and face hordes of opponents. The gameplay is nervous and the possibility of using bladed weapons is always present. The most nostalgic will be on familiar ground and new players will be able to let off steam, in a title as fun as it is beautiful. Note that the adventure can be done for two.

4. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy at €9.89 instead of €29.99

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy brings together the original trilogy of games in the series. This investigation and lawyer simulation game puts you in the shoes of Phoenix Wright, a young lawyer who prepares for his trials by going to the scene of the crime, in order to better understand the cases. Each chapter offers often improbable stories and quirky characters. You will have to lift the veil on each crime and question the protagonists of the case, go through the scene of the crimes and gather the evidence, to confront all these beautiful people in court. The investigation phases are relatively simple and fun, and prepare the ground for much longer and fortunately very funny trial phases. The writing is of high quality and the game, although consisting mainly of static shots, is fascinating. A resolutely original title.
