In 2023, celebrity couples will once again be cavorting in the “Summer House of the Stars” and fighting for victory. These couples have TV experience.
“The Summer House of the Stars” opens its doors again (from September 19th, every Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. on RTL, too available on RTL+). Eight celebrity couples move into a shared apartment together, have to prove themselves in challenges and will most likely have one or two arguments between themselves. Around half of the couples had already had previous TV experience together.
“Aleks” Petrovic and Vanessa Nwattu
Aleksandar “Aleks” Petrovic (32) and Vanessa Nwattu (23) look back on a turbulent love story that even began on TV. The couple met in the reality TV experiment “Temptation Island VIP”, in which Petrovic actually took part with his then girlfriend Christina Dimitriou (31). But the 32-year-old didn’t pass the loyalty test and took a liking to seducer Vanessa. The two left the show together and were able to survive as a couple despite all the criticism. The two now live together in Düsseldorf.
Pia Tillmann and Zico Banach
Pia Tillmann (37) and “Bachelor in Paradise” participant Zico Banach (32) also fell in love in front of the camera. However, the two were not in front of the camera for a reality TV show, but for the daily soap “Köln 50667”. After his dating show experience, Banach joined the series in spring 2022 in the role of Carlos Janssen. He played the ex-lover of Tillmann’s role, Meike Weber. In June 2022, the two made it public that they were a couple in real life by attending a football game together. In the spring, the RTLzwei format reinvented itself with new actors, and the couple also left the show at this time.
Maurice Dziwak and Ricarda Raatz
Reality TV actors Maurice Dziwak (25) and Ricarda “Ricky” Raatz (31) began their TV “careers” in the dome show “Love Island”, Raatz in the third season in 2019, Dziwak in the sixth season in 2021. Both took part In 2022, they took part in the RTL+ dating format “Are You The One – Reality Stars in Love” and celebrated a love happy ending with some turbulence after the show. The two have officially been a couple since June 2022.
More TV experiences
While Valentina Doronina (23), like many of her colleagues, has already mastered several reality TV formats, her fiancé has only had small, albeit crucial, TV appearances so far: Entrepreneur Can Kaplan (27) made his partner appear on the “Late Night Show” from “Celebrity Big Brother” an application at the end of 2022. At the beginning of 2023, the couple also played their way to victory in the “My Husband Can” special. Claudia Obert (61) and her partner Max Suhr (25), who have been a couple since summer 2022, also took part in the Sat.1 broadcast. The two have also been accompanied in their everyday lives for the VOX program “Where Love Falls” and reported on their love, which outsiders often described as unusual.
