Elegant, classic, suitable for everyday use: as soon as Catherine, Princess of Wales, or Duchess Sophie of Edinburgh appear together, everyone only has eyes for them. No wonder, the two royals are not only super likeable, but also super stylish. Over the past few years, we’ve seen Kate and Sophie find their iconic style alongside now-husbands Prince William and Prince Edward. And you can rely on them: because no matter how much they like to use real designer parts, more affordable parts are used at least as often. We just say “Kate effect”. Her current favorite lower-budget label: Beulah London.

Summer favorite 2023: Kate and Sophie are currently only wearing Beulah London

The brand made its debut at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in London in July 2021, when Catherine presented the Men’s Single Final trophy in a pale pink belted dress by Beulah London. By 2023 at the latest, the affordable designer label will definitely be an integral part of Kate’s wardrobe, but also of Duchess Sophie. Within the past month, a dress by Beulah London has been worn by the British royals five times, twice by the Princess of Wales and three times by the Duchess of Edinburgh. Well, if that’s not a good rate!

Only in 2021 and now again: Kate loves her “Ahana” dress in pink.

The royals love these models

Of course they are all beautiful, but the models “Yahvi” and “Ahana” seem to have particularly impressed the royals. Kate in particular seems to have been won over by the vintage look with the pleated skirt and narrow collar of the “Ahana” dress. Just as the price for less than 400 pounds should have convinced the Princess of Wales. William’s uncle’s wife Prince Edward, on the other hand, chose the simpler “Yahvi” with bell sleeves and side buttons for both the Trooping the Color parade and a visit to Iraq.

With her dress, Sophie also relies on the crème de la crème of pretty summer dresses.

Clothing brand with a mission

What’s special: The clothes from Beulah London not only impress with their elegance, but also have a special charity aspect. Because the brand is committed to women who have been victims of forced prostitution and sex slavery in India. Part of the label’s proceeds are therefore used to help women find their way out of poverty through the acquisition of skilled crafts and sustainable employment. The fashion label’s website states: “Beulah was created to bring about positive change and economic independence for these women.”

The brand was founded by Kate’s ex’s wife

Incidentally, the brand was not founded by a stranger. Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs launched the brand in 2010 together with her friend Lavinia Brennan. Does the name ring a bell somehow? That’s right, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs is not only known for her aristocratic circle of friends, who also belong to Princes Harry and William, she is also married to Kate’s ex-boyfriend Rupert Finch. In fact, Catherine and the designer are now even friends. How practical if this also creates the perfect advertising platform for your own clothing label.
