We tell you everything about this fashion which is seen everywhere, and which is above all validated by Cristina Cordula.

"Sun-kissed": what is this make-up trend?

As the name suggests, the "sun kissed" trend is all about creating a "sun kissed" effect, as if you were exposed a little too long to the sun. You know, it's that slightly reddened or pinkish effect you get on your cheekbones or cheeks after a day at the beach or the pool. The goal is therefore to create luminous makeup and summery that will enhance the complexion. Sun-kissed has two major advantages: first, it is very easy to do, and second, it allows you to warm up the complexion and of give good looks. We love it, and Cristina Cordula too. Indeed, the famous Brazilian model has validated this trend in a make-up video made with her favorite makeup artist Tom Sapin. The beauty loved the "sun-kissed" effect: it instantly made her look radiant.

How to achieve a "sun-kissed" effect?

Achieving a "sun-kissed" effect is quite easy, even if you are not used to wearing makeup. Everything is at the level of the complexion. Start with unify your skin with a product with very light coverage, so that your tan and any freckles remain visible after application. Exit on winter foundation, you should rather bet on a BB cream, a CC cream or a product that will warm the complexion very slightly. Then apply a Bronzing powder to structure the face and bring a tan. Prefer a cream tan if you want a very natural result, and a powder if you like the texture and feel comfortable with it.
In Cristina Cordula's Instagram video, her favorite make-up artist applies creamy bronzer to her with a brush. It forms the famous "3": it puts it on the forehead at the temples, on the cheekbones and goes down to the jaw. He explains that to have a "sun-kissed" effect, it is necessary put lightly on the nose and the top of the cheeks. Cristina is won over, and we understand her: this tip is simple, quick and immediately gives a healthy complexion ! Others choose to add even more effect by adding blush, again powder or cream depending on your taste. But the creamy texture will create a very soft and natural effect: as if you had taken a very light heat stroke in the sun. Finally, there is also a way to accentuate this "sun-kissed" style. It suffices to add, with a brown pencil, small freckles on the top of the cheeks : it gives even more the impression that the sun has passed that way.

"Sun-kissed" trend: what make-up for the eyes and mouth to pair it with?

The "sun-kissed" effect ultra-natural, it is advisable to pair it with a eye makeup very bright and quite light. So, bet on a taupe, brown or even slightly orange eye shadow on the entire mobile eyelid. Then add iridescent eyeshadow in the middle to add light. A small touch of mascara, and your gaze is magnified in two-step three movements. On the lip side, you can adopt a pretty nude mouth, but also a coral lipstick very bright for a more sophisticated make-up. Are you going to be tempted by this make-up trend of the moment?
