Sunrise Avenue fans need to be patient. Your farewell tour has to be postponed again and will now start in April 2022.

The Finnish rock group Sunrise Avenue has to completely postpone their farewell tour originally planned for 2020. That gave frontman Samu Haber (45) and his band colleagues including on Facebook known. At the beginning of the year, the two shows in Helsinki had already been postponed to July 2022.

The “Thank You For Everything” tour starts on April 17th, 2022 in Berlin and will take the band through Germany, Austria and Switzerland until the end of May. At the grand finale on July 8th and 9th, Samu Haber and his colleagues will be guests at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium. Tickets that have already been purchased should remain valid.

“The last time”

“I firmly believe that it will be the last time that we have to reorganize everything. Next year in April the world has to be completely normal again,” writes Haber on the band’s Facebook page. He couldn’t wait for the lights to go out before the first show.

The group also writes on Instagram: “No masks. Not two meters away. No stress. Just rock ‘n’ roll and a hall full of love.”

With their hit “Fairytale Gone Bad”, Sunrise Avenue played their way into the hearts of fans for the first time in 2006. 13 years later, they announced the end of the band in early December 2019. It was said at the time that they wanted to devote themselves to other projects in the future.
