Whereas as of December 1, Super Bomberman R Online closes its doors, Konami has announced the release of Super Bomberman R 2. Unlike its predecessor, the title will be released directly on all platforms. We will thus be able to find the game on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch during 2023.
As peace has been restored to the universe, a new threat emerges. A good opportunity for the 8 Bomberman siblings to make their comeback.
On the program of this new opus, we can find a brand new mode called Castle. In 1 vs 15 battles, you’ll have to build your base and defenses there while fending off enemy attacks. The story mode, meanwhile, is enriched with new adventures. Playable in solo, it will feature Ellon a new character as well as the Bomberman family. Note the return of several Super Bomberman R modes such as Grand Prix or Battle 64. Finally, a creation mode will also be present and should allow you to share your creations online with other players.
