Super Bowl 2020: Jennifer Lopez and Shakira surprise with the little Emme

Pop superstars Shakira (43, "El Dorado") and Jennifer Lopez (50, "AKA") really got the football fans going at the Super Bowl 2020 on Sunday at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami: Performed in the 12-minute halftime show she hits like "Jenny From the Block", "Waiting for Tonight", "Get Right" by Lopez and "Hips Don't Lie", "Whenever, Whereever" by Shakira in tight glittery costumes. The latter opened the show with the song "She Wolf".

Lopez daughter as a highlight

Colombian-born Shakira hit the drums on the Lopez hit "Let's Get Loud". Little Emme Muñiz then provided the much bigger surprise. The eleven year old daughter of J.Lo and ex-husband (2004-2014) Marc Anthony (51) sang this hit together with her famous mother. While Lopez performed in the feather cape in the colors of the flag of Puerto Rico, her daughter was in no way inferior to her in a white mini dress with a gold belt. The duet was the closely guarded secret of the halftime show beforehand.

Memory of Kobe Bryant

The most emotional moment was certainly the one when the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant (2018-2020) and his daughter Gianna (2006-2020) were commemorated. At the end of L.Lo and Emme's "Let's Get Loud" performance, a huge cross appeared on the yellow and purple lighted pitch, the colors of Bryant's long-time basketball team, the Los Angeles Lakers. With this touching tribute, athletes, fans, politicians and Hollywood stars mourned the basketball star who was killed in a helicopter crash outside Los Angeles on January 26 with his daughter and seven other people.

Before and after the halftime show, the Kansas City Chiefs prevailed against the San Francisco 49ers.
