R&B singer Usher has been announced as an act at the next Super Bowl halftime show. It’s not the first time the musician has taken part.
Big honor for superstar Usher (44): The singer will perform in the halftime show of the Super Bowl next year. The final of the American professional football league National Football League (NFL) will take place this time at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. The home stadium of the Las Vegas Raiders will host the major event on February 11, 2024.
Among other things, Kim Kardashian (42) brings Usher shared the good news about his appearance at Super Bowl LVIII in a funny announcement clip. Football stars Odell Beckham Jr (30), Marshawn Lynch (37) and Deion Sanders (56) also pass on the message to him in short videos. “It’s a great honor for me to finally be able to check a Super Bowl appearance off my bucket list,” Usher said according to People in a statement. “I can’t wait to give the world a show that’s unlike anything they’ve seen from me before.”

Usher has been involved in a halftime show in the past, but was not on stage as a headliner. He performed together with the Black Eyed Peas, who put on the show. This year, Rihanna (35) performed at the famous sporting event and caused a big surprise for the audience of millions.
After giving birth to her first child with US rapper A$AP Rocky (34) in May 2022, Rihanna’s appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 12, 2023 was considered the start of her long-awaited stage comeback. During the performance, Rihanna also made her second pregnancy public and proudly presented her baby bump.
