Super-G in Val Gardena – horror fall from Ploier: diagnosis is here!

Andreas Ploier caused the biggest shock in the Super-G in Val Gardena on Friday when he had a nasty fall in the lower part and had to be carried off the slopes. In the evening, the ÖSV announced the diagnosis.

“The knees look stable,” the Upper Austrian gave the all-clear shortly after the race. As the ski association announced hours after the Super-G, Ploier, who was wearing start number 26, suffered a bone bruise in his right knee and is now falling flat four weeks out. This was the result of an examination at the Hochrum Clinic.
