The film Super Mario Bros. will be at the heart of its own Nintendo Direct tomorrow night, with the presentation of a first teaser-trailer which will be shown during New York Comic-Con. The expectation around the film is palpable, given that this is one of the most famous icons of video games who will be entitled to his first film. And yes, we assume that we have all collectively agreed to forget the film released in 1993. Nintendo has so far only unveiled a poster where we can see the mustache from behind , but a promotional image where we see him from the front is currently making the rounds on social networks.

It could well be that McDonalds spilled the beans a bit too quickly by revealing a first image of Mario in the upcoming film. Super Mario Bros.. The authenticity of this image has yet to be confirmed.but we should soon be fixed.
The reception reserved for this portrait of Mario seems to be rather mixed for the moment, because even if it is very close to that of the games, we cannot deny that there is a visual effect a little more realistic which has enough to disturb our senses (without going so far as to speak of Uncanny Valley).
We will obviously wait to see the trailer for the film before judging.since it will be better to see all this in motion, with the voice of Chris Pratt (we’re afraid) to accompany it all.
