Multiversus makes a big announcement a few days before its release. He’s ready to take on Super Smash Bros Ultimate, it’s going to hurt. A new hero has just been revealed and there is no doubt that fans will love it.
We haven’t heard about it for a while, Multiversus will make its comeback in a few days and with it, a multitude of new features. We don’t have all the details yet, but what is certain is that the game is ready for the fight. When it was first released in 2022, the game was a huge success. It quickly established itself as a serious competitor to Super Smash Bros Ultimate, the undisputed king of the genre, despite the presence of Brawlhalla, the Ubisoft game which is having a nice little success, although timid. And for its final release, Multiversus is preparing something heavy, something very heavy.
Multiversus announces a new hero who will please fans!
Fans have been waiting for him for a while, after Warner’s very curious decision to cut his game to develop it calmly while it was booming. Multiversus will arrive in final version on May 28 and with it a crazy amount of new features that we can’t wait to discover. But before that, it’s time for teasing and the game reveals the arrival of a new hero highly appreciated by DC fans.
After Batman, or Wonder Woman, Multiversus will this time welcome the supervillain Joker. The Batman’s great enemy will be ready to fight as soon as the game is released and will be voiced by the excellent Mark Hamill, the one and only Joker. Note also that the Batman of Multiversus is voiced by Kevin Conroy, the emblematic voice of the Dark Knight who left us in November 2022.
As a reminder, Multiversus is a free arena combat game where up to four players can play as different characters from the Warner stable. They must compete until the knockout by knocking the opposing team out of the arena. The game was ultra dynamic, strategic and well designed at the time, it remains to be seen whether the last months of development have been favorable to it. See you on May 28 on consoles and PC to find out for sure.
