The Last Son of Krypton has a new face. After months of intensive casting, and a final hesitation between several actors, the next film Superman Legacy found replacements for Henry Cavill and Amy Adams as the superhero and Lois Lane: David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan.
Krypton’s New Son
While competing with Nicholas Hoult (X-Men) and Tom Brittney (Outlander), it is therefore David Corenswet who wins the iconic role of Kal-El, alias Superman, alias Clark Kent. The 29-year-old actor is known in particular for the series We Own the City, The Politician And Hollywood.

Beyond his CV, what made the difference is undoubtedly his disturbing resemblance to the character. Fans will even find a bit of Tom Welling (Smallville) in his face.
What would Clark Kent be without Lois Lane? Luckily, the role has also found its new incarnation in the person of Rachel Brosnahan, who wins the role opposite Emma Mackey (Sex Education) and Phoebe Dynevor (Bridgerton).

The main performer of The Fabulous Mrs. Maisel is already a recognized actress, with an Emmy Award in her pocket, and roles in the series Blacklist And House of Cardsand movies Hunt in Boston And An ordinary spy.
The two actors will therefore be at the center of the future cinematic adventure of the “Man of Steel”, entitled Superman: Legacyand which will be written and directed by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy). If the plot of the film is still mysterious, its producer Peter Safran revealed that he “focuses on a Superman balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing”. An entire program.

Are you a Superman fan? Good luck finding The Adventures of the Son of Krypton in the SVOD offerings. Canal+ and Disney+ do not offer any Superman films or series, when Netflix only has Justice League to offer in its catalog.
For their part, subscribers to Amazon Prime Video are a little better off, with man of steel and the series Smallville. But they will have to rent or buy VOD if they want to enjoy the other films and series in the franchise.
