The studio Supermassive Games is obviously very busy at the moment. While the fourth opus of the anthology The Dark Picturesnamed The Devil in Me, is in the works for release at the end of the year, the studio has already dropped the next five names and logos of other upcoming episodes for the horror series. And obviously, the studio does not intend to stay on a single license, since a new brand has been registered.
Another horror game on the horizon?
This is again via trademark filing, discovered by Twitter user @the_marmolade, that we learn of the existence of a project at Supermassive Games. VGC then reports that this brand, “ The Quarry ยป, concerns a new game, which is apart from the anthology The Dark Pictures. We discover here the logo of this new title.
The site’s sources indicate that The Quarry would be published by 2K Games, with an expected release within the year, although we don’t know any more for the moment. We do not know what type of game it is, even if the studio is rather known for pouring into horror. Since the release would be planned for 2022, we should soon learn a little more about this mysterious game.
