Supermassive Games is not idle and is obviously working on a new game called The Quarry. The trademark registration reveals that it would be published by one of the subsidiaries of Take-Two Interactive (GTA 6).
If the quality of Supermassive Games productions can be discussed, the quantity is there. As proof, in addition to this discovery, the studio must always deliver five additional The Dark Pictures Anthology episodes.
A sixth project for Supermassive Games
As is often the case, the filing of trademarks makes it possible to flush out unannounced games and Supermassive Games is once again paying the price. Indeed, while Bandai Namco has not confirmed anything, the names of the next The Dark Pictures are already known. As a reminder, this anthology systematically offers different frames and atmospheres. A mysterious game published by 2K Games?
Unfortunately, no clue about the nature of the title which could however continue in the register of horror. After all, the studio is used to the genre. In contrast, we probably know the publisher of this secret software which would not be Bandai Namco.
According to VGC’s Andy Robinson sources, Tea Quarry would published by 2K Games… in 2022 :
If true, Supermassive Games would follow one year after releasing The Dark Anthology: House of Ashes on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
Since 2021, the developers also count on the support of Nordisk Games, which took 30.7% of the studio’s share. An alliance that does not aim to betray the DNA of the team, namely narrative games.
