Supermassive Games will lay off people, and not just a little

No one escapes the layoffs affecting video game studios for many months, it is now the turn of Supermassive Games to announce that he will follow the trend. Bloomberg revealed that the English studio had announced to 150 employees that they were at risk of dismissal, 90 people will in fact soon be fired.

The English studio was quick to formalize the bad news in a statementevoking an industry facing “significant challenges”. Supermassive Games will reorganize itself and will above all consult the developers affected by this risk of layoffs. The studio currently has more than 300 employees, almost a third of the workforce will therefore be fired.

Supermassive Games is best known for Until Dawnwhich will be entitled to a PS5 and PC remaster soon, but the studio is also developing Little Nightmares III, The Cast of Frank Stone in the universe of Dead by Daylight and an Season 2 has The Dark Pictures Anthology.
